Sorry about the light posting.  Today is our 37th wedding anniversary, and there is a lot going on.

Today we celebrate the feast day of Maria Goretti.  What faith, courage, and forgiveness for a 12 year old to possess.

I am the wife of a Catholic deacon living in Des Moines Iowa. My husband Larry was ordained in 2006. We have two children and five grandchildren.. Our daughter and her family live in Ireland, and our son and his family live in Franklin Massachusetts.

    Well, Deacon Larry is 60 and now the two of you celebrate 37 years of journeying together in marriage. It is a wonderful thing. And, so many memories of that great wedding in Ireland back in 1973…the stories I could tell. But, not now. Congratulations! Love to both of you….Jim
