Breaking News: Pope Benedict Will Retire

My husband broke the news as he handed me coffee.  From Vatican Radio:Pope

Pope Benedict XVI on Monday said he plans on resigning the papal office on February 28th. Below please find his announcement.

    I love it that Benedict only lasted in “exile” for a couple of months before coming back to the Vatican. He’s probably scared of being arrested for his role in covering up the sexual assaults of thousands of people.
